Arlington, VA, - October 12, 2017. NetCloud, LLC (NetCloud) has been awarded a prime Federal contract from National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) to provide anomaly detection and failure prediction software for the T2 Combined Operational Load Bearing External Resistance Treadmill (COLBERT) on the International Space Station.
Using data provided by NASA, NetCloud will build predictive models using NetCloud’s in-house software ‘PredictAnalyzer’ to be able to identify anomalies and predict failures for the T2 Treadmill. A portion of the data provided will be used for model building and a portion will be used to test the models. Upon completion of building the models, NetCloud will share capabilities of its software on the test data it received with NASA.
“We are very excited about supporting human spaceflight mission with NASA.” said Mehul Satasia, CEO of NetCloud. He added “We realize the extreme importance of exercise in space for Astronauts, without exercise Astronauts would experience loss in bone density, muscle mass and cardiovascular health, so it is critical to predict failures before they occur.”
